Darren Couchman

Talking balls all across the country!
21st June 2008 - 6th July 2008

Darren's aim is to raise awareness of testicular cancer in a funny, light-hearted way by visiting places in the UK whose names have reference to male genitalia.  Darren says "Testicular cancer is often seen as an embarrassing illness because of what it affects." He wants to break down this barrier using humour and as a testicular cancer survivor, never has it been so poignont to alert other men to the signs and symptoms.

Darren used lots of humour to help him fight his cancer and now he wants to bring this humour to the whole of England. Darren said he literally wants to be "talking balls all across the country".

Darren sets off on Saturday 21st June and ends his tour on Friday 4th July in style -in a bath of nuts in the middle of Trafalgar Square!  He will be welcomed home in Clacton on Sea on Sunday 6th July.
