Everyman Volunteer Appears on GMTV

As part of National Volunteering Week (28 May - 3 June), Everyman supporter Simon Shakeshaft appeared on Tuesday morning's GMTV alongside Alex Carter from Emmerdale.
Simon has had testicular cancer twice, first at the age of 24, when he was working as a physiotherapist at Shrewsbury Town FC, and again at 37. He is therefore passionate about raising awareness of male cancer, particularly in the football community.
By visiting clubs to raise awareness of male cancer, Simon has been a tireless campaigner for Everyman's Keep Your Eye On The Ball initiative. He recently completed a 'Ground Hop' tour of all 92 league football clubs, giving awareness talks to players and club staff members.
Hannah Crabtree, Press & PR Manager at the Everyman Campaign, said: "Simon's support for Everyman and Keep Your Eye On The Ball has been absolutely phenomenal, and he even continued his activities throughout his illnesses. By making the football community aware of the signs and symptoms of testicular and prostate cancer, his work can literally save lives."
