PI3 Kinase

Phase I/II to test the safety of PI3-Kinase inhibitor in solid tumours and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 

This drug targets the PI3 Kinase enzyme known to be important in the progression of cancer and also drug resistance. The enzyme was discovered at The Institute of Cancer Research in collaborative research. The drug is licensed to Genentech.

This early trial will test the safety of the drug and whether it has an effect on cancer progression in solid tumours (including prostate cancer) and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
