Everyman Congratulates Duke On Contract Extension

Everyman supporter and Hull City FC Keeper Matt Duke has received a one year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2011.
Duke (pictured on the left with Everyman patron Neil Harris) was diagnosed with testicular cancer and underwent surgery and chemotherapy early last year. He has recently made a return as Hull’s first choice keeper.
Everyman Male Cancer Campaign spokesman Martin Smith says:
“We would like to congratulate Matt Duke on his contract extension with Hull City.
“Not only is Duke a star performer on the field, but off the field he is playing a vital role in raising awareness of testicular cancer and Everyman, encouraging young men to be aware of their health.
“Matt has also helped raise more than £6,500 for research at Europe's only dedicated male cancer research centre, the Everyman Centre.
"We wish him all the very best for rest of the season and beyond."
