Keep Your Eye On The Ball

Did you know that testicular cancer is the most common form of cancer to affect men aged between 15 and 44 – just longer than the average career span of a footballer!

The Keep Your Eye On The Ball campaign was launched in 2000 in association with The FA and The PFA and is now celebrating its 10 year anniversary raising awareness and funds in the football community to stamp out male cancer.

Teddy shows off his ball skills for Everyman
Teddy Sheringham was the face of our 2009 campaign. His first call-up was to star in a ballsy advert calling for men to keep an eye on their balls while he shows how he keeps an eye on his own! Teddy was a real sport filming the ad and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do...

Jason Cundy's Charity All-Stars match
2009 also saw the launch of Everyman patron Jason Cundy’s Charity All-Stars 5-a-side match. The talkSPORT presenter and ex-Premiership star assembled a selection of celebrities to battle it out in a 5-a-side match, also featuring Everyman supporters, to raise awareness of testicular cancer.

The celebs who played included Martin Offiah, ex Liverpool player Phil Babb, Anthony Costa from boyband Blue and TV presenter Giles Vickers Jones. Premier League referee, Peter Walton, was on hand to keep the players in line while Jason’s wife Lizzie added a touch of glamour to the event!
