TacheBack

TacheBack logo

TacheBack. The one thing more glorious than a 'tache, is a 'tache that raises cash.

Every September, Everyman calls upon men across the UK to grow a sponsored moustache raising vital cash to fund research into prostate cancer and testicular cancer at The Everyman Centre.

This year was extra special because none other than Keith Lemon led the thrust from the prow of his hairy ship.  As Businessman of the Year 1993, he provided tips on what it takes to ‘be a real man’ as well as mentoring and encouraging our TacheBackers along the way, keeping them inspired with his unusual video pieces, check them out at www.tacheback.com.

Each TacheBacker had the chance to win some fantastic prizes throughout September and a once in a life time prize for the top fundraiser- an exclusive rally experience with current British Rally Champion Guy Wilks. Aly Kassam who raised a brilliant £6010 will be joining Guy to burn some rubber around the tracks in his very own rally car at a top rally event.

The legendary TacheBack finale party was held on 1st October with celebrity judges comedian Charlie Higson, television and Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio) presenter Sarah Champion, British Rally Champion Guy Wilks and our star guest Mr Keith Lemon.

Matt Rockell was voted as '1st place Furry Face' after growing a 'tache which impressed the judges the most.  2nd place-A Close Shave went to Dave Mansfield who wore a pie-chart displaying the votes he received from his supporters with the 'tache style they wanted him to wear, which turned out to be The Handlebar.  For the first time, we also had a Top Tachette raffle with 4 lucky Tachette's winning various prizes from Remington.  You can see photos and video footage from the event on the TacheBack website.
