London Marathon

Sunday 17 April 2011

Taking part in the London Marathon is a truly amazing and life changing experience.

No one can describe the electric atmosphere, the support from your fellow runners, or the feeling of finishing in the Mall with tens of thousands of people cheering you home.

It is an enormous challenge, but whatever your age or fitness, thousands before have proved that with a strong enough desire, and the correct preparation, you can do it!

The 2011 event

There are two ways you can secure a place in this famous event.

1. Register for a ballot place with the organisers. Unfortunately the ballot entry system has now closed, however, if you are lucky enough to secure your own place in the marathon via the public ballot we would love to welcome you into Everyman's Marathon team! Simply email us to join the team and enjoy all the benefits of running for our life saving male cancer research.

2. Apply for an Everyman golden bond place. Everyman has a small amount of guaranteed places and these are allocated based on the runners application form. You can sign up direct online, download an application form or email us with your details and we'll post a form out to you.

Volunteer

If running's not your cup of tea, but you would like to join the marathon experience and support our vital work, why not volunteer to help on the day? With cheer points and a post event reception theres lots to be done, so email us today to join our Everyman support team.
