Big Stride and Rotary
Why not get your Rotary Club involved by organising a Big Stride walk for your members, friends, families and local community!
As well as raising awareness for male cancer, you will be raising vital funds to support Everyman's world leading research.
Rotary and The Big Stride
In 2011, Everyman is asking Rotary Clubs across the UK to organise Big Stride events. With your brilliant fundraising skills, contacts in the local community and knowledge of your local areas, we believe you could put on a fantastic Big Stride walk.
How do I get my Rotary Club involved?
That's easy, simply register online or email the Everyman team - we will put your Big Stride pack in the post to you, which contains everything you need to get started.
Your pack includes lots of tips and advice, guidance on how to organise your event and some ideas on choosing your walk route.
Who should we invite to take part?
Everyone! One of the best things about organising your own Big Stride walk, it that you can tailor the event to suit your club. If you have a mixture of abilities, you can have multiple walking routes, such as a one mile, five mile and ten mile trek. This way everyone can join in and enjoy a great day!
What else can we do on the day?
Lots!
There are many ways you can make your Big Stride a day to remember. Why not have a picnic to finish off the walk - you could have a cake stall asking for donations for items, or some children's games or activities.
