Give A Regular Gift For Prostate And Testicular Cancer Research
Direct Debits enable you to give regularly and directly to the ICR's Everyman Campaign through your bank account. Your regular gifts will help us provide vital equipment for our scientists working on prostate and testicular cancer research.
For example in an ICR lab:
- £10 buys one pair of safety glasses or 500 polypropylene microtubes
- £20 is the amount it costs us to extract DNA from a single sample
- £100 buys us a simple pipette, used to transfer small volumes of liquid between containers. These need to be extremely accurate to ensure experiments work
- £1,000 pays for one microarray experiment to analyse the difference in gene expression patterns between five cancer and five normal patient tissue samples.
And, if you’re a UK taxpayer, please don’t forget to complete the Gift Aid section as this means for every £1 you donate we get an extra 25p with no additional cost to you.
